What Are Gel Nail Stickers?

Gel nail art stickers are made from semi-cured gel polish and are cured with a UV or LED lamp. Though, gel is more common in nail wraps than in stickers.

A nail wrap is essentially a sheet of flexible gel that you apply to cover your whole nail, and file down to fit the shape. Nail wraps often incorporate gel to provide a flexible, durable finish, while traditional stickers typically don’t use gel materials.

Traditional nail art stickers typically don’t use gel materials and therefore don’t need to be cured.

Nail Stickers and UV

Can you use nail art stickers with UV gel? Some nail stickers can be combined with UV gel systems, providing extra shine and durability.

Curing gel with UV-light gives the gel that characteristic smooth finish.

Specifically, gel nail stickers need a UV or LED lamp to bond effectively to the nail.But after that they’re set to keep looking fresh!

How to Apply Nail Stickers
